Daniel 12 KJV 4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the Time of the End: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Here's the New Testament reference to the "Last Days". It's from Acts Chapter 2: v.15
For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Apparently we've been in the "Last Days" since Peter stood up and spoke at Pentecost. There's lots more info here: Prohpecy Reformation Institute

The world will end when I draw my last breath.

Well, but other than all of the above, everything is fine right?
As a long time student of Bible prophecy, I do see signs of the end of course, but I don't pretend to know all of the answers. I don't believe in a pretrib rapture anymore, I once did. I don't see Rome taking over the world as Hal Lindsey used to say, not sure if he still does, (with a straight face anyway).
I do know that Israel will be hated by all nations, that sure seems to be true. And it seems to me there is to be a big battle, and it appears to be Arabs against the rest of the world. Now that is not hard to imagine these days.

Mars huh? LOL! Guess anything is possible these days isn't it?

I'm glad you made your post. It's a good one.

I never have understood that belief that the end has already come! I must have missed it or something, although I must admit, sometimes these days I do wonder if we haven't stepped into the Twilight Zone.

"Signs in the heavens: A black hole called Sagittarius A* in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy was recently discovered. It is 26,000 light years away. It's gravitational forces makes it's "slave" star, called "S2" travel at a speed of 18 million kilometers per hour - or 5000 kilometers per second. The mass of Sagittarius A* is between 2.2 million and 3.7 million times bigger than our sun. See the British journal Nature for additional details. Will this black hole threaten our solar system one day? (Other "signs in the heavens" will be published by this writer in a future column called "The Stars of the Kalahari.")." A black hole at the center of the galaxy is unlikely to "threaten our solar system." Firstly, at 26,000 LY away--even at 5,000 km/sec (which is NOT the speed of the black hole), it would take 1.5 million years to reach here--even if it were headed directly at our "future" position 1.5 million years in the future.
More importantly, Sag A* is a gigantic black hole because it is at the center of the galaxy; stated conversely, it is at the center of the galaxy because it is an enormous black hole. If some magical force dragged it toward us, it would drag the entire galaxy. In fact, it would be indistinguishable from the solar system suddenly leaving orbit and falling directly toward the galactic core.
LoBiado is a terrible writer but evidently he has obtained a spelling checker and grammar checker; his errors are now more sophisticated.

But thats part of the allure of this stuff, isnt it? It would feel really good to truly believe that you are privy to divine information that the average schmuck will never be, because he hasnt read the same books. And books there are. Dozens and dozens of them, all capitalizing on the desire and gullibility of those with nothing better to do than to be among those "in the know" as to what the mind of God is.

I wouldn't worry about those silly Martians- everyone knows they're the biggest porn peddlers in the universe. I predict they'll get hit by a mega-tsunami long before Earth is attacked.

What do they know down at the FEMA headquarters, except for how to suspend the Constitution? This issue was raised in the X Files film "Fight the Future," by filmmaker Chris Carter much to the shock of the Clinton Administration. FEMA was flooded with calls. Eventually the X Files was cancelled. OMG, the NWO killed the X-files

--Hal Lindsey is trotted out again, ostensibly in the hopes that those old enough will have forgotten that we were supposed to have suffered Armageddon years ago. I've read some of Hals books. I have also read several posters who have said how wrong he is. I have asked several of them, and now ask you, to post specific quotes from his books that are false, just so I will know. From my readings he tried to make educated conclusions but I don't recall him ever giving a specific date since "no man can know".
If you answer this with other than a flame, you will be the first.
