Fox has outstripped CNN as the number one cable news network, and now Fox's dynamic duo of Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes has topped CNN's stalwart star Larry King in the 9 p.m. hour as well.
For the October rating period ending Friday, Hannity and Colmes garnered 1.65 million viewers to King's 1.577 million, and that during a news-packed month where CNN would usually have done very well.
"We're not going to let up," said Hannity, who also has the #2 rated nationally syndicated talk show on the radio airwaves.
"Honestly, we work harder, and we've tried to break down every barrier ... our guests know they're going to be treated fairly when they come on our show," said Hannity.

This is a real accomplishment and a statement for our party.

I think the most popular format of all time would be nine Republicans beating up on one democrat.

"We're not going to let up," said Hannity I know he won't! Great show except for colmes

The show would have even more viewers if it didn't have
Alan Colmes on it. If I wanted to hear the liberal line I'd tune into CNN or MSNBC. Hannity could probably get two million on his own.

GO SEAN

This is great. Does anyone else sense the conservative resurgence (revolution) in this great country?

Imagine how FNC would clean house if they were accessible in the same number of households as their competition.

While it may be argued that Hannity is a king of cable, Colmes, at best, is the court jester desperate to advance the liberal ideology.

That would be something, huh. Sort of like the NY Times op-ed section in reverse!

While this is a great accompishment for the Conservative movement, I am not sure I can stand another minute of Sean tooting his own horn....lately I have been finding myself switching him off especially when interviewing someone for their new book, all the while he is continually pumping his new book.

Fortunately, Alan doesn't get many words in edgewise and sits in his corner offscreen. The show is dominated by Hannity and that's fine by me.

Great show except for colmes I agree. I certainly don't mind the show format, having a conservative and a liberal, but Alan just doesn't think well and present well-argued points of view. He reminds me of a child who insists that mom listen to him and then trots away after he's spewed his point. My family just became a Nielson hh and I really wanted to support H & C, but I just can't stand Alan, although he is personally likeable enough, so I usually turn to the History Channel or something similar. They need a thought-prevoking liberal who can articulate views a lot better.

this would be a better show if Michelle Malkin would make more appearances and if Sean would punch out colmes at the end of each show

Aw, Colmes isn't so bad. I certainly find him easier to take than Begala or Carville. Besides, having him on is a visual aid for bad political views, and good target practice for Sean. :)

Exactly! "Fair and Balanced" would be nine Republicans beating up on one democrat, 24/7, on three different networks (or, alternatively, on all channels), for 45 years.
To: ezoeni
Good one! How about letting Michelle punch out Colmes?

Does anyone else sense the conservative resurgence (revolution) in this great country? Yes, I do.
We run the radio shows with Rush, Sean and most local talk shows. I think the middle of the roaders are starting to see what the demonrats are all about. All they have to do is watch dashole and the klinktons to see that they are all about themselves. The crap in jersey, the dead candidate in Hawaii, the lies and vemon that comes out of the mouths of them all.
I have actually gotten my sister (a dem for all her life) to agree with me on most of the issues, and when she has looked into some of the things i have put in front of her face she can't deny them.
If I can sway her, there is hope for this country. We have alot of work to do to take back this Country.

Your right Neets. Hannity is borrowing a page from Rush Limbaugh. They're both turning into P T Barnum. ITS THE MESSAGE NOT THE MESSENGER !!!
To: LibWhacker
Now you're talking!
To: LibWhacker
That would work. Both her and Ann C in a tag team match against colmes.
nice
They could make some serious bank on a pay per view deal
