DETROIT -- Despite having died eight years ago, Kathe Beddow still retains one mortal privilege: The right to vote.

The city Elections Department in July sent Beddow a voter registration card, even though she hasn't voted in more than a decade. She is also still listed as a registered voter with the Secretary of State's Office.

We need poll watchers and challengers. If you are interested, please vote absentee, and then contact the State GOP at 1-866-MIGOP-02.

And bring a camera with you to snap pictures of the van drivers, and lawyers herding the "base" into the precincts.

Yea Detroit will be a main voting block for the RATS here in Michigan. If there were no Detroit Michigan would be Democrat free in elected seats. The RATS will be bussing people in to cast votes. We need some poll watchers down there.

Maybe the reason why so many dead people vote is because election day is only a week away from Holloween. :P

The fix is in. Create a confused atmosphere so you can mold it into a favorable outcome through litigation.

Out dated and wholly inaccurate voter registrations are a big problem all over the country. In Durham NC (the city and the county) there are more registered voters than there are adults over the age of 18 residing there.

But even attempt to clean them up and the ACLU and the NAALCP swoops in and cries racism and 'civil rights!'

Hmmmm...Voter turnout of 150% DOES sound a bit high, don't you think?

NO, what Detroit needs is a good election-eve party sponsored by one of Jim Jones' deciples!

With the 2000 U.S. Census recording the city as having a population of 655,561 people of voting age, Williams' count would mean that 93 percent of the city's residents who can vote are registered.

When you count in those (felons, etc) that cannot vote, it probably means 100+% are registered.

Which means that Detroit, plus just one other city that has a similar scale of fraud, would account for the entire Democrat popular vote margin!

This has to be resolved by legal means, or it will get ugly. People don't like it when their nation is being stolen from them.

One simple solution would be to have a law that removes a person from the rolls if they did not vote in the previous election.

Yes, that means you would need to re-register if you missed an election.

The second reform would be to require ID to vote. I have no problem showing my Id to vote, especially if it cuts down on voter fraud.

This may not eliminate voter fraud, but there is no reason to make it easy for the crooks.

I agree with you 100%, but the Democrats depend on criminals and thugs for their votes. This would be declared unfair, since the Democratic Party itself is about 75% criminal anyway.

The Stupid Party strikes again. Vote fraud is a big problem in Michigan and I believe it cost Michigan a US Senate seat (Spence Abrahams) and cost Bush Michigan, when a huge number of votes came in from Wayne County (Detroit) late on election night.

They could've struck while the iron was hot after the Florida 2000 debacle to set up a secure, fraud-free voting system. But nooooo! They're afraid of confronting the Mafia, oops, Democrats.
