Oh, good, I was hoping there was a thread. Husband refuses to watch, but I see from the photos that everyone is overcome with grief.

Truly nauseating, isn't it? It's old home week for the DNC. I just turned it on a little while ago. My husband is going to have a fit when he comes in here and sees this. Don't think he'll let it stay on long...

They are all mugging when the camera shows them on Fanavision in the arena...not even trying to fake a solemn event...

Applauding the Dem elites at a 'memorial service' is a bit tawdry, dontcha think???

You should see it! This is not Memorial Service but a campaign rally for Mondale. I hope every citizen of Minnesota sees this! I am totally appalled and even Daschle looks very uncomfortable!

Larger in death than in life! Honestly, I had no idea this man was so hugely important. I never saw him in the news before his death. Looks like the Dems have a huge void to fill now..........
