This made me feel good. It also made me think, why cant we get a Pro-War/Republican table set up on the street.

why cant we get a Pro-War/Republican table set up on the street. As the old saying goes "If it is up to be, it is up to me"
Do it.
Congrats on stopping them in their tracks!
Next time you go shopping, bring a camera...we'd love to see pics of this type of thing.

Good job!
I like Fairway when I'm in Manhatten, which isn't too often.

This illustrates what lighting one little candle can do. Would that we would all have the courage to go it alone as you did. There's no telling how many hearts you may have changed today. Thank you.

I just fininshed doing a literature drop for the Republican party in my neighborhood. I bumped into a guy who said, "you can keep that, we are democrats." I looked at him with a very sad look on my face and said, "I am really sorry to hear that." Normally, I would just say nothing and smile.

Yes, I could see the anger in this poor father was genuine but I think I made him feel ebtter in the end witha smile when I made the McCall down by 20 pts. He definitely appreciated me going after the Green nut.

Thanks. This kind of reporting was one of the most seductive things about FreeRepublic when I first lurked here.
I don't happen to agree with you on Iraq--at all. But I still think it was a great report and revealed far more of the "facts on the ground" than anything we could glean from the corporate media.

... All the staffers were white men and in their 50-s to 60's. ...Interesting observation.
All of the "staffers" presiding over the decline and fall of the Catholic Church in America are also white men in their 50-s to 60's.
In fact, most of the "staffers" presiding over the decline and fall of Western Civilization are white men in their 50-s to 60's.
Reading and weeping.
But, as I said---great report...

Actually I don't believe we should nuke Iraq, unless they do it first, but I do believe we need to pre-empt in Iraq before he grows any stronger and threatens us. Yelling NUKE IRAQ seemd to be the last thing the Green wanted to hear. As it turns out it many in the crowd likely appeared to be on my side.
Thank you for your support even if you have a differing view. I can tell the Greenie I freeped has no room at all in his agenda other than the destruction of the US and other wacky green agendas.

Congratulations on your bravery and your efforts. You are an inspiration. See how one life can touch another? Today the Fairway, tomorrow....

Spontaneous Freeping, or spontaneous "Americanism"! I love it. So sad about the gentleman who lost his son. While 9/11 still burns in our hearts, it will never be so near as to those who lost loved ones.
Thank you for all your work!
