You guys raise a good point. I didn't realize he had a brother. Perhaps that is who I saw in the mentioned interview

Both brothers have somewhat dark complexion and wear glasses. The pollster has a fuller face, kind of Russert like while his brother seems thinner. While neither have full heads of hair, the pollster has longer hair and is fuller while his brother has shorter hair and seems more bald if I remember correctly. The pollster seems more cheerful while the arab cheer leader seems unhappy.

at the same time "fair sex" isn't an indicator that you want a divorce from her (or that you want to toss an incumbent out) :P

Personally, I'd put Bush in the "fair" category but I'd never, ever vote a Democrat above him. He's done a terrible job of keeping the government smaller and in implementing a fiscally conservative platform; but what can I say, lesser of two evils and all that.

And I think that is what the "fair" category represents to a lot of voters--the lesser of two evils. Can you see Davis getting a lot of "excellent" or "good" nods? Yet he's going to be winning in a cakewalk.

But I've yet to see one article giving any reason why we should be expecting it, beyond the usual RAT knock-and-drags they give to blacks as if they were subhuman.

Check out MSNBC website (near the bottom, it maybe part they share with Washington Post online). They had two articles on turnout today. One discussed the major effort the Dems were putting out. The other was on minority turnout and quoted some dems that were concerned that minority turnout might not be that great because the campaigns were targeted towards issues that were more important to suburban elites such as abortion, the environment, and judges than on jobs and safety net programs.

A woman attorney was polled by Zogby and recognized 'leading' questions. She called Sean and then he rushed to call Zogby to give him a chance to rebut and he COULDN'T.

We need more information. Was this an independent Zogby poll? Or was it a private poll commissioned by one of the campaigns? If the latter, leading questions wouldn't be a shock.

A woman attorney was polled by Zogby and recognized 'leading' questions. She called Sean and then he rushed to call Zogby to give him a chance to rebut and he COULDN'T.

There is the syndicated polling that he sells to all, and there is the custom polling he does for candidates and the media. The type of questioning will differ. Some times parties or interest groups will want a certain result so the questions are framed a certain way to give them a better shot at what they want. This is seldom done for candidates because they want to win on election day, not in the press.

Fer cryin' out loud; I don't remember POA coming in with those numbers at the end. Looking back, IF I had seen numbers like that, I would likely have discounted 'em. What I remember was POA and Zogby running fairly close until near the election. I could be wrong on that too... Sheesh; ain't life wonderful.

Har! I was predicting big win for "W", and truth be known, discounting the mischief, I still believe he would have won big. There was just too much tinkering at the very end for there not to be some creativity by the Dims. Of course several close states that "W" probably won would have been a decisive win...
