A self-serving sort of ping.

I originally posted this the night before the 2000 election. Most of the movers and shakers of the Free Republic of 4 years ago added their thoughts to that thread, which, alas, has vanished into the mists of cyberspace...

I know that I was able to mainitain my sanity due to FR in the last presidential election. I cannot imagine what it would have been like without it and the many friends I've enjoyed here.

I continue to pray that we can all rejoice together again on November 3rd.

Rush Limbaugh: "We meet at dawn tomorrow"
get out and vote for Bush!!

Just a little humor, folks.

On his show, Rush is always saying “Hi! Hire you?”
(“Hi! How are you?” A little Southern humor, haha!) .....

It's here, you just have to click on the link twice.

Sort of what you have to do with ruby slippers.

The magic never dies.

Well, whatever happens tomorrow, one thing we can all say: we helped elect a President who will be an example for generations to come. I cannot imagine the last four years with anyone else at the helm.

May God grant us four more years of President Bush's leadership.

This is a classic piece of writing. I remember it well. No one has expressed our feelings this clearly. It was needed then and it is needed now, tonight, as we wait ... but not alone.
