Disabled Veteran stands for the "Colors".

Is he one of the Retired Disabled Vets that has to pay for their disability out of their retirement pensions?

Please, call your Senators and Representatives two times between now and November 12, 2002 with the following message:

“I ask that Senator ______/Representative _______, use all of his/her effort to insure that Concurrent Receipt for our Disabled Military Retirees is included in the 2003 National Defense Authorization Bill when it is passed by the Congress. I have been very concerned by the actions of some of the Leadership in Congress and ask that he/she insure the passage of Concurrent Receipt this year. Thank You”

A FREE CALL: 1-877-762-8762 is a toll free number for you to use and then ask for your Senator or Representative’s Office.

Also call the Whitehouse and urge President Bush to support Concurrent Receipt for Retired Disabled Veterans.

The treasures of our nation are not in the bank. They are in plain sight, but few recognize them.

Thanks for the great pic. I'm not sure what part of it stirred the most emotion in me. I felt pride for the man who made the effort to stand, and anger for the idiots sitting on their butts.

Charlie Daniel Band was here recently. When he played the National Anthem we held up a friend of mine who is in a wheel chair due to cerebral palsey. We were right up front, Charlie did shed a tear. Shamed the rest of the audience into standing for it too.

Jacka$$es can't put two and two together... Hey, boneheads! It's not just a routine before the start of a ball game, hockey game or nascar race. Miste alcrity... some people literally need a smack upside their head!
