[history]
A power shift in the U.S. Senate will bring some noticeable changes, including a more aggressive attitude toward Saddam Hussein, Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle said Wednesday.
Daschle lost his leadership position soon after Republicans took control of the Senate in a surprising national election-night success.

Do all the media people believe that raising taxes and spending more money on superfluous programs will give our economy a boost?
Yes, it puts people to work on these expensive programs, they say, and they have paychecks to spend, boosting the economy.

"worst night he's ever had"Tommy, wait till November 4, 2004, when you are defeated for re-election.
This man is a coward. Did anyone notice last night that after he made his optimistic rounds of all the networks, his staff later that evening issued a statement to the media that trends had turned negative and that he expected to relinquish the majority leader post. Further, did anyone catch that MSNBC was the only network to even report on this! FOX missed it!
He knew earlier. What a pissy little coward.

He has no clue!!! You are right, sir. Between Terry "we've got 55% of governorships" McAulife and Tom "I wouldn't do anything different" Daschle, each is more obtuse than the next.
Oh, it's a great day for schadenfreude.

Oh, it's a great day for schadenfreude. Nicht verschten. Sprechen Sie English?

I am allowing myself ONE day of gloating.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
To: jwalburg
Funny, Mr McAuliffe is giddy about last night. ever the saleman. Then again, he is worth $100 million and over 6' tall, so he can afford to be happy. Daschle is only 4'11" and poor so he needs this job to help his wife get cushy contracts while compromising America's security.
Daschle is toast. He better retire, or Thune will take HIM out.
To: Tennessee_Bob
Bwaaahahahahahahahahaha!..
Notice that his feet hardly touch the floor?
(Dashle thinks: *Sniff*... It's dis not faiw... Mommie!)

The president ought to feel good this morning, and I congratulate him. We had a president who talked a lot about 9-11, the war in Iraq, and North Korea. It precluded us from breaking through, talking about issues like the economy, education and health care, he said. Bovine scat. The President taked about those issues too. The RATS simply had nothing to say about them. What was the RATS' solution to the economy, education and health care? They never advanced any kind of agenda at all. Saying you are "concerned" about problems is not a political platform.

Daschle openly said he's considering retirement? Ka-BOOM! That is a headline in itself!

Just sent them an e-mail asking if they would have the courage to aggressively pursue the vote fraud that took place in Shannon (and others) county?
All Freepers, please do the same!

To Tiny Tom: Your nightmare is just beginning.....
Check the little brown bag on Christmas. It's coal.
And that new tree in your front yard. It's a Giant Sequoia complete with tree sitter.
And that little bunny in the back yard...Those little brown things in your basket aren't jelly beans.
Sweet Dreams!!
