You know,
I honestly don't know what to think...
These shows are obviously not healthy for young people. (I admit, I've watched it on occasion myself). At the same time they are weeding out the idiots among us before they cause any actual harm to anyone but themselves.

American culture emphasizes independence and free spirit. There's a lot of external fun. They're happy. This is a case of isolated stupidity and happiness has nothing to do with it. Cases of isolated stupidity are everywhere, you can begin with morons who insist on driving or flying while drunk.

"Teen Burned Trying To Re-create 'Jackass' Stunt" Ya know if Darwin was still around I think he could watch Jackass and smile knowingly.
To: MetaAlpha
Yeah, but he could get honorable mention

Guys,it still sounds as though this kid has a chance at becoming useful down the road(hopefully sooner than later).I wonder if he now might be a new fired up republican? Sorry,I couldn't resist....

actually an authentic Bill Hicks classic, god rest his trouble-making soul.
Bill Hicks was THE 20th century's funniest man. He saw clearly what many in our society are too blinkered to perceive, and he wasn't scared to call it what it was. He was a prophet, and he is God's comic now.

Why do they think they call it "jackass"?

Dad?
"He apparently left too much alcohol on his shirt," Dad apparently left something off before sex, some years ago.
As a matter of fact, I think his father left something off too.

This is the price we pay for trying to raise boys in a sheltered manner. BTTT. The more stable, safe, and predictable our society becomes, the more alien it is for the nature of boys. Feminization thrives in modern society. Being a boy is now a "condition," to be treated with any manner of medications and re-education.

In Lansing, MI area this past weekend a pair of guys took turns riding on the roof of a car while the other one drove.
The 20-year-old fell off and was slain when the 19-year-old was driving and lost control. The 19-year-old is being charged with murder.
Source later if I can find it.

There's a reason for that movie's title. And now that kid know what it is. It's because when people do these things, the most common thing said of them is, "what a jackass."

And yesterday, Kelvin was at the burn ward at Harborview Medical Center with first-degree burns to his face, arms and torso.
Although he was in satisfactory condition, Kelvin will remain hospitalized for another week. Idiot kid should be made to watch films of the Vietnamese Buddhist monk who pulled the same stunt 40 years ago.
