Just days after the American people decisively rejected Tom Daschle's do-nothing obstructionism, Daschle went on Meet the Press to say that he's going to try it again -- opposing President Bush's judges and policies for a better America. Here is what he said:

Senator Tom Daschle: "We're going to oppose him when he's wrong. That includes judges, that includes policy. It includes everything that comes from the White House. We're going to look at it and make our assessment on a case-by-case basis."

Heard he was "praising" President Bush and the American people in a back-handed way during that interview. He said something to the affect that President Bush speaks a language the American people can understand. In other words, Bush is an idiot and so are all of us. Only Tiny Tom has an intellect and all the answers.

I had that on Sunday night as I fell asleep. What I noticed was that Trent Lott barely mentioned the democrats, if he mentioned them at all. He talked about issues.

Daschle, on the other hand, whined through his entire interview -- the Republicans this, the Republicans that. This crybaby, sore loser stuff isn't going to help the 'rats win any elections.
