If you were a Dem in Louisiana - or Terry McAuliffe - what would you do now in the Senate race there?
Go for broke.
Perhaps we should revisit how Ms. Landrieu won her first Senate race back in 1996.

I remember Woody Jenkins in this situation.
He "took the moral high road" back then in the same way that Thune has in this election. What good did the high road do? The voter fraud has increased rather than having been defeated. In short, no one did anything. The Republicans did their usual "back down" and that woman went unchallenged.
I wish I could believe that the Republicans cared. I wish I could believe that the current candidate is anywhere near as Constitution oriented as Jenkins was. But then the Republican party isn't either.

We need poll watchers this time in New Orleans. The good news is the state Elections Commissioner (Suzy Terrell) is a Republican. (All the previous commissioners were corrupt Rats)
