"Do democrats even have one iota of honor?" I think the terms are mutually exclusive.
Have y'all seen this. Let's keep this publicity up. If this constantly is being brought up and suspicion is constantly cast on everything they do, maybe, just maybe, we can clean up some of this mess. We really need to make an issue of it between now and the next election.

Under North Carolina law, offering money in exchange for votes is a Class I felony, punishable by a maximum of 15 months in prison for each offense." It's time to start enforcing these laws. I wonder what our law is in Arkansas. We definitely have a few Rats down here that need some time in the cooler to reflect on the importance of integrity in the election process.

"Now why can't I find this story posted anywhere at DU?" Perhaps it is under the title: Southern White Republican Racists Disenfrancise Black Voters Who Were Trying To Do Their Job.

This gets better all the time.
Wobbleton belongs in the House. Let's hope this draws blood.
Doub is a good GOP lawyer.
This happens everywhere. Maybe with a little heat, the dominoes will fall.

The Al Gore Can o' Worms continues to disgorge....Everyone knew voter fraud by the Democrats was the norm, but the crazy aunt in the attic was never discussed until the Florida fiasco....Thanks, Al.LOL bump

Whats your take on this ?My take?
This is what I have always suspected was business as usual in this area.
What's so unusual is actually seeing it in print.

Thanks for the ping! It will warm my heart when they actually start prosecuting and jailing these Democrat vote stealers. Its high time they start doing time.

Not funny.
Al Gore and the Democrat Party paid good money for those votes. That's not to mention legal fees after he didn't get what he paid for.
Now the same damn thing happened to McAuliffe in Florida. He paid the big money, and lost. It is obvious to me that there is no sense of ethics among the residents of this sunny state. They take your money, hit a couple of precincts, and badda-bing-badda-boom, 10'o'Clock in the morning, and they go to the beach? We gotta get some union felllas down there to teach these creeps that when it come to politics, Chicago-style don't mean pizza. They gotta deliver.
I am hoping those Democrats left in Congress will do something about this. There oughta be a law. Meantime, good guys like Al Gore and Terry McAuliffe are brokenhearted. That ain't right.
PS, I am visiting Jimmy Traficant this weekend. He'll know what to do.

Keep us posted.
If they offered this vote payoff to 10 people and get sentenced to 15 months for each offense that could mean 150 months in jail or 12.5 years.
Of course when we make acts like this an act of treason and punishable by death to those who make the offers, we might see this Bravo Sierra stop really quick after a few public hangings in front of the polling places they violated. Then, freeze their bodies and bring them out every election day and string them up on a light pole close to the election sites they violated. That will stop this Bravo Sierra.

We really need to make an issue of it between now and the next election. We certainly need to! A few of us 'little people' in Arkansas are trying.

It's time to start enforcing these laws....
Herein lies the problem. There has been no consiquences to illegal actions for years. Therefore, crime paid.
Remember when the principal paddled one kid (usually the loudest), out in the hall, at the beginning of the school year. Cut down on problems for a long time.
Time to make an example of a few. Let them know it will not be tolerated.

I agree, hoosiermama.
And Sweetliberty and Budge-you go guys! This matters. If a consequence is an arrest or two (or more!) and this makes headlines, it will send a warning note across the nation.
How long do you suppose the democrats-WHO PAY PEOPLE IN THEIR CHURCHES TO VOTE-THUS TEACHING THOSE PEOPLE THAT VOTING DAY IS PAY DAY and robbing them of the DIGNITY of voting as a right, the most special of rights, at that. Paying people, the CHEATING at the polls ie in Arkansas, sends a message to people that voting itself, is a game to won, instead of the incredible, tremendously important 'will of the people' that it was meant to be.
My prayer is that someone with clout, either Larry Klayman, or David Schippers, the great one, Mark Levin, or any other major league attorney(s) who has yet to sell his or her soul, will take this up with a fervor before the 2004 election cycle.
I miss Barbara Olson. FReeper BKO. She would have been a voice for this sickening discovery of voter fraud across our nation.

I think of Mrs. Olson often when I consider the war on terror. I'm sure we all miss her.

I agree the Floriduh fiasco did help to highlight the democrat corruption in voting, but it has also helped to have a republican DOJ ... because republicans tend to frown on election fraud.
Now ... some may argue that repubs commit election fraud just like dems to - but I agree with Ann Coulter (from her book "Slander"), "there are a few bad republicans, but there are NO GOOD DEMOCRATS! I rest my case.
