John, me boy, outstanding as always. Don't forget that they couldn't win the Senate even with their shenanigans in NJ, SD, Minn. and probably LA.

"So by what measure can we claim to be successful so far?" By this measure:
Nov. 15: A senior al-Qaida leader was captured overseas and is American custody, U.S. officials say.
On Nov. 3, the CIA killed bin Laden's top operative in Yemen, Qaed Salim Sinan al-Harethi, in a missile strike launched from an unmanned Predator aircraft.
Abu Qutadah, also known as Omar Mahmoud Uthman, was captured by British authorites on Wednesday, October 25th, said a U.S. defense official, speaking on the condition of anonymity. Abu Qutadah is a Muslim cleric accused of being Osama bin Laden's ``ambassador'' in Europe.
On the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, U.S. and Pakistan authorities captured Ramzi Binalshibh, another alleged planner of the strikes on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, in Karachi.
In March, CIA, FBI and Pakistani operatives captured Abu Zubaydah, a senior al-Qaida terrorist operations planner with worldwide connections. His associate, Abu Zubair al-Haili, was taken in Morocco in June.
Mohammed Atef, bin Laden's top deputy and operations planner, was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Kabul last November.

Oh baby-the RNC should publish your 2 cents worth (more like a million dollar gem's worth) and send it out for major enjoyment to their subscribers. Ohhhhhhhh baby....ain't this all the truth!
But the resorting cast doubt on our war efforts is so astoundingly beneath the lin, my hope is our President will continue to network across the country. It would seem his efforts to change the tone work when the nation is informed of his plans. Only the elite dems in the congress and house and DNC holequarters don't seem to get it.....and their love fest with the major media nets gives them a certain edge.
But when our President travels-greeting folks and getting out the message-their media stronghold collapses into so much dust. We saw that in the last election.
Now, more than ever, our President needs to stay the course and travel the nation, counteracting the horrid attempt of the dems to dispirit our nation, crush our military's hard, hard work in Afganistan, giving lurid and untrue soundbites for Saddam and Osama rotten food upon which to brag about.....GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
