November 16, 2002 -- THE Sept. 11 terror attacks destroyed lives, careers and a nation's psyche - and convinced "Naked News" anchor Victoria Sinclair that she needed a sabbatical from reporting the news in her birthday suit.
Sinclair decided to get her priorities in order before returning to the show this week after a year off.

The important thing is to let her know that she wasn't alone in feeling this way - I think we all had trouble getting naked in public after 9/11. I'm just glad to see that we're starting to pick up the pieces and move on...

But in the days after 9/11, she began to find it difficult to deliver the news in the "tongue-in-cheeks" style her telecast required. Tounge in cheeks? Hmm...I couldn't read the news like that either...

I hear Fox News Cable is going to this format. Laurie Due, et al. CNN is dead meat for sure.
