Cape Girardeau is quite a distance away from St. Louis, in the bootheel...close to Arkansas. Hehe.Since my husband is from Missouri, I asked him where Rush is from. He got it partly right. :-)

"I don't think the dems would be that stupid" They're stupid enough to let Tiny Tommy talk on national TV aren't they? And stupid enough to try to convince people that Hillary is centrist and Bill Clinton is honest...yeah, really. I heard that today. Some woman on Fox said she believed the Clintons were honest people!

My only disappointment was that he didn't use the "S" word, namely, what should be new talking points, "centrist = socialist".
Other than that, Rush pretty much covered it.

The dems are really split on the reasons for the losses in the last election.
Half believe it is because they were not left enough and they compromised their beliefs. The other half feel they went too far left and failed to appeal to the moderates.
We know the answer ofcourse, but they refuse to see it and are pandering to both sides of the issue as per usual. This tactic won't work anymore, because they have lost their center.
They will need a strong candidate to lead them out of the abyss.
Gore ain't it!

I missed this, When will it be repeated?I did too.

Since my husband was born in Missouri, I made the mistake of asking him where Rush was from.
He told me wrong. :-(
Although he got the Girardeau part right.:-)

IMO, Bush won by a landslide in 2000, but MEGA-Rat-voting-fraud deemed the results skewed.

Not You--you were only one click away---sorry- will try harder to yell at a LOOSER-- Thanks and have nice nite --

Rush on the Tim Rusesert show. The fastest hour on TV And, at least this week, the BEST!!!
Rush Limbaugh--
"America's Most Important Natural Resource!!!" Hubba Hubba Hubba...Dooba Dooba Dooba!
To: patricia
I wouldn't use the term "landslide" to describe Bush in 2000, but I would remind people that the last time the voters of this great country sent a GOP majority to the house and senate was in 2000. So in that light, 2002 was not that "historic".
To: ralph rotten
What is wrong with me ---everyone is using loose(does not fit)with LOSE youall are blowing my mind!!! You are just taking everthing to series.
I did that once, and suggested some Freepers have a spelling lesson because they didn't know how to spell serious.
Then I made the mistake of saying snippers when I meant snipers, and did I ever hear it from all those who say you are not to take things to series.;-)

My goodness ... BECAUSE 2000 turned out as it did, my reflection is that this makes 2002 'historic' indeed.
Interesting how differently we each think .....

John Sununu was on "Capital Gang" this evening, and he made an interesting point. He said Gore wants to be president so badly that he won't run in 2004 because he knows he'd lose. Sununu said he would probably wait until 2008.
It's something to think about. And since Hillary wants to run, probably that year too...man, things could get really interesting.
