Rush's hometown is Cape Girardeau, Mo and it is two hours south of St Louis, almost in the bootheel.

You should see one of the threads over at DU right now. They are calling on people to boycott Christmas and the economy.

I know, I know. I have had my history lesson from about 5 freepers now.
:-)I made the mistake of asking my husband who was born in Missouri, (long time ago) he told me wrong.

They don't understand that Rush's power comes from the fact that he speaks for what so many Americans already believe. Exactly.
I remember the first time I heard Rush. My thoughts were, " Wow, someone articulating my feelings".
He has 'turned' many but most of his listeners already felt his words prior to his radio stint.
Watch the libs try to silence him. The hate and inciting charges from Daschle are the first step.
On that note, I remember Rush once said that if the gov. shut him down, he would broadcast from offshore.

Kudlow Cramer is on CNBC at M_F 8pm EST, excellent show. Better than O'reilly, more information, less ego.

It was wonderful to hear Rush explain what a "liberal" is, what "liberalism" means, etc. I've never heard a better analysis of "bleeding heart, feeling, liberals" (and their apparent incapacity for rational thought) before. Rush was great!

I can't believe Tim is actually letting him speak...
Could he STOP him? LOL

"Tom Dash-hole will RUE THE DAY he decided to make this man a target!
Rush actually said this about John McCain last week Thursday. "He shouldn't have done this, but he did." Then Rush laughed. And I laughed until I about rolled off the bed. McLame is going to be made to feel very sorry. I love it!

Russert has always treated Rush fairly. Rush has commented on the fact. Plus Tim can use the ratings boast.

I had heard about him, not never listened until I saw his TV Show in Dece. '92. I liked his sense of humor. So Istarted listening to his radio show.

McCain is puffed up like a baloon, and Rush has a long needle.
