Rush is a genius. And he also looks really good since he lost all that weight. :)

"He's right .. liberal don't like to be called that .. even though that is what they are .. " Exactly, Take Hilary! as an example. She went on Chrissy Matthews show this week, (ON TOUR at ALBANY UNIVERSITY).....She positioned herself as a centrist, by going on a show in a crowd of NY leftist coeds, who booed her when she said she was against Gay marriage. Why there were even protests against her (STAGED) that she tapped her foot with their chants.
NOBODY, wants to be a liberal these days......if they want to be elected.

"liberal don't like to be called that .. even though that is what they are .." I don't think it is that so much as they know that they will lose credibility with those whose support they need if they proclaim themselves to be liberals. Actually though, I think many of them are quite pompous proud of what they are, and they think they're only concealing it for the benefit of the the people they pander to who they clearly believe to be too ignorant to make those judgements for themselves.

I thought about this the other day as I was throwing out some old mailings from the election. " the parents association of Blah-blah supports kalhid X for school board,
Kalhid X graduated from public school, went to X college
and Bah,Bah Bah. So vote for Kalhid X etc.
NO party affiliation......Here in Ga. that means one thing,
DEMOCRAAT.
Republicans are PROUD of what they are
and the party they belong to,
and want the world to know it.

I don't like to call them "liberals" either. That's what they used to call themselves, but "liberal" has a noble history as a political term.
And you can't call them "progressives" because their ideas are passe'; the Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore (in which case they are actually "regressives").
Call them "socialists" (still too tame) or call them "Lefists," or call them "Reds" or call them "commies." Those terms are much more accurate.
