Border vigilantes' illegal terrorism must stop (Barf Alert)
The Tucson Citizen ^ | 26 November 2002 | Salomón R. Baldenegro

In our democratic society we revere the right of freedom of speech so much that even proponents of hate can exercise it. With very few exceptions, such as bomb jokes in airports, in our country we do not prosecute speech. I like that.

Baldenegro is parroting the talking points apparently put out by the reconquista subversives at Coalicion de Derechos Humanos. Guadalupe Castillo, co-chair of the reconquist group, made similar slanderous statements as discussed in this thread.

So, what you're saying Salomon, is that Americans that are having their property destroyed, livestock killed, and lives threatened can't defend themselves against the perpetrators because the perpetrators are (illegal)Mexicans?

Sounds racist to me!

Well, dang, where'd I put it...can't find my crying towel.

How dare those AMERICAN vigilantes try to keep illegals UNDOCUMENTEDS out of OUR Nation?

Ok, people! Enough if enough! Motel 6 needs them to change the bed sheets because no American will. McDonald's needs them to clean the bathrooms--and you like those clean bathrooms, don't you!--because no American will. Farms need them to pick lettuce, because no American will.

Without all the UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS, we will continue to have dirty bedsheets and dirty bathrooms and no lettuce for our salads!

Now, back in line you sheeples!

[All you Americans whose jobs currently involve changing sheets, cleaning restrooms, picking lettuce need to quit those jobs immediately! Our illegal immigrants UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS need them.

The citizen groups American Patrol, Ranch Rescue, and American Border Patrol carry out their agendas by patrolling public lands with high-power weapons and holding immigrants at gun point, threatening to shoot them if they move.

This is a total, unfettered, unadulterated, 100% Grade AAA Lie and Baldenegro knows it.

American Patrol is a freakin' website! and does not patrol anything. American Border Patrol is a volunteer group that monitors the border with high tech equipment, gathers information based upon reports of border intruders, compiles the information into a database, and then disseminates it over the Internet. That some members happen to carry a personal firearm for protection does not mean that a single one of the members has ever pulled a weapon on a border intruder. They simply observe and report and stay out of the way. Ranch Rescue is mostly about repairing rancher's fences and cleaning up the mess the border intruders leave behind. Ranch Rescue has only used their personal firearms to run off drug smugglers and have never held a border intruder "at gunpoint." None of these groups have ever held a border intruder and gunpoint and threatened to shoot a them if they moved. Baldenegro is a freakin' liar!!!

Don't forget the jobs at DFW airport that no American wants.

Pay a decent wage and Americans will take the job -- look what they paid to work on the Alaska pipeline. Hell, pay me $75./hour and I'll pick lettuce!

"But that would mean letuce would cost $10./head!". Sure, but let me reverse that by asking how much a Detroit car would cost if we had $2./hr illegals working the assembly line? Half?

Why shouldn't every industry benefit?

"But, it seems that the law enforcement establishment in our state is not keen on prosecuting hate actions against Mexican immigrants. "

If the mexican criminals stay on their side of the border they have nothing to fear. It's not that U. S. citizens hate mexicans. What they hate is the hordes of ILLEGAL immigrants that are turning our great nation into the same 3rd world scum hole they are trying to get out of and making the hard working U.S. taxpayers finance their lives.

...senior research analyst... So I take it this guy doesn't actually teach? Why does the U of A need a senior research analyst for its Department Of Multicultural Programs and Services? What the heck is that, anyway? AZ's tax dollars at work...

A group of immigrants were fired upon by masked attackers while standing in the desert about 20 miles southwest of Tucson.

In Maricopa County, eight bodies of Mexican immigrants have been found, their hands tied behind their backs before being shot multiple times with a semiautomatic weapon.

Near Red Rock, two men wearing camouflage fatigues opened fire on a group of twelve immigrants, killing two.

This couldnt have anything to do with the unrestricted drug trafficking going on out in the desert. It just had to be the Nazi's.

I notice this Baldnegro clown isn't complaining about the heavily armed coyotes, drug smugglers, and mexican army units roaming the border areas. Of course they aren't indulging in "hate crimes", they're just protecting the business interests of the hard working narco-traffickers, and the civil rights of the poor, down-trodden, long-suffering mexican nationals trying to sneak across our border.

If a few gringos have to be terrorized into silence, burned out of their homes, or simply murdered so the mexicans can cross their land, well too bad, the whites stole it from the rightful hispanic owners in the first place, right?

Not a single arrest or prosecution regarding the above and other incidents has occurred.

Well thats because some of the "incidents" were a complete fabrication and for the other incidents well guess what there is no enforcement of the law in the first place that is turning the southwest back into the Wild West.

The above, and similar, actions are not isolated actions of deranged individuals. Quite the contrary. It seems that there is an organized and violent hate campaign against Mexicans going on.

Yah the govt's of US and Mexico have decided that Mexico's poor make great cheap labor and footmen for drug smuggling.

I do believe that there have been patrols of PRIVATE land, but mostly as a means to use sensors that the groups have purchased to detect illegals. But you are right, there are plenty o' lies in this paragraph alone.

Baldenegro is about as vile and despicable as they come. He's not a real professor... he's some sort of affirmative-action recipient who used to be UA's assistant dean of Hispanic Student Affairs, whatever that is. He also apparently helped found the fifth-column gang called MEChA. He is in bed with the scurvy likes of Isabel Garcia and Rep.-elect Raul Grijalva, also a Mechista. Imagine..... a seditionist in Congress. Isabel Garcia is reputed to be a flamin' communist and an agent of the Mexican government.

Mexico "owned" our Southwest lands for a grand total of 25 years. Mexico City had little ability to govern them as the Indians, Apache and Comanche, had the run of the place. With Spanish/Mexican interlopers cooped up behind the walls of forts and missions cowering in fear of them
