"Something will start at the Republican National Committee, inside the building, and it will explode the next day on the right-wing talk-show network and on Fox News and in the newspapers that play this game, The Washington Times and the others. And then they’ll create a little echo chamber, and pretty soon they’ll start baiting the mainstream media for allegedly ignoring the story they’ve pushed into the zeitgeist. And then pretty soon the mainstream media goes out and disingenuously takes a so-called objective sampling, and lo and behold, these R.N.C. talking points are woven into the fabric of the zeitgeist."

Al's projecting again. This is what THEY did for eight years.

And dammit, he is DELIBERATELY not mentioning FR.

Say it, Al! Say "FreeRepublic.com" and then say really bad things about us.

Most of the media [has] been slow to recognize the pervasive impact of this fifth column in their ranks—that is, day after day, injecting the daily Republican talking points into the definition of what’s objective as stated by the news media as a whole."

You know, I've decided that Gore, Daschle, etc. have completely lost sight of who the enemies to this country are. They are small people who apparently thing Americans give a rats behind about their puny little political lives, losses, and whines, in light of the significant things going on in the world. Once again, they display their selfish endeavors during a time of war. How un-American.

I've decided that Gore, Daschle, etc. have completely lost sight of who the enemies to this country are..

...and it would be so easy for them if they would just look in the mirror.

Hard to imagine that this narcissistic bunch doesn't look in a mirror though so I guess they only see what they want to see.

Al Qaeda and other terrorists are small taters compared to the political terrorists like GORE/Da$$hole.

It's funny how Democrats accuse Republicans of things they are experts at themselves.

PROJECTION:

(definition from DSM-IV, a standard psychiatric reference) "Falsely attributing to another his or her own unacceptable feelings, impulses, or thoughts."

If this were not a carefully scripted Democratic National Committee campaign, I would say it is time to raise the dose of the medications that Al Gore is so obviously taking.

Here is the Algore drawing from the same story:

Mr. Gore said he believed that evolving technologies and market forces have combined to lower the media’s standards of objectivity.

I bet Algore regrets the day he invented the Internet.

Mr. Gore acknowledged his image problem among powerful Democrats, and that the onus will be upon him to recapture the loyalties of those who supported him in 2000. "Maybe I bear the blame for some of it," he said. "I haven’t been very good about calling all of the insiders over the last two years, and maybe some of them have a beef with me because of that.

I don't know about the rest of the country but I do know that the Palm Beach Demmycrats were pissed off bigtime at Algore because he NEVER called to thank them for their efforts to steal the election for him.

"The media’s standards of objectivity" consists of the current press release from the Democratic National Committee for ABC-NBC-CBC-CNN-MSNBC-TIME-NEWSWEEK-AP-REUTERS-NY TIMES-WASHPOST-ETC-ETC-ETC-AD NAUSEUM!

For now, Mr. Gore can only attempt to explain what motivates the ceaseless lampooning he continues to face from America’s columnists and commentators. "That’s postmodernism," he offered.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! And that's yet MORE material provided by Algore himself to lampoon him with. Thanx for the laughs, Al!

Secondly, Gore is so upset about FOX, yet I dont remember him getting upset over the Turner/CNN days.

I read an article that claimed that Ted Turner actually CRIED when the Demmycrats lost bigtime on Nov. 5.

I read this and I began to wonder whether or not Gore's loss to Bush has caused him to become mentally ill.

BINGO!!!! I wouldn't be surprised if every night Algore agonizes about those 537 votes (post-steal) that kept him from his life's dream.

"The media is kind of weird these days on politics, and there are some major institutional voices that are, truthfully speaking, part and parcel of the Republican Party," said Mr. Gore in an interview with The Observer. "Fox News Network, The Washington Times, Rush Limbaugh—there’s a bunch of them...

It's gonna be FUN to listen to Rush today!!!
