Guiliani or even Ken Starr would have been better; a little prosecutorial and investigative experience.
Can you spell whitewash and stonewall?

Ken Starr..........oh I can just see it now.........for heaven's sake, give the President some credit for knowing how to play the game. The left wanted an investigation, they are going to get an investigation.
The most important part of this will be the recommendations that the committee makes.
Any committee with McCain as a member is bound to be nothing but show biz.
Just my opinion, of course.

I would rather not have Ken Starr waist anymore of our tax money...

...Ken Starr would have been better
I can hear Dan Rather allready... "Good evening. The long-running, wide-ranging and multi-million dollar Republican controlled activist Ken Starr investigation is underway."

Guiliani or even Ken Starr would have been better; a little prosecutorial and investigative experience. An appointment to this panel is a political kiss of death. Giuliani is not that dumb.
George Mitchell is still angling for a SCOTUS nod, so he is trying to get on as many blue-ribbon panels as will have him. The contrast of the non-partisan, scientific Kissinger next to the rabidly-partisan attack dog Mitchell is a bizarre thought.
