Ann Coulter brings us another classic on the Religion Of Peace's tolerance - famous in this situation for the attitude its conveyed towards beauty pageants in Nigeria.

But it goes further than simply rioting over a newspaper article and making Christians go to heaven alongside Mohammed Atta. Its about looking fatwa and Muslims find it unbearable in from of scantily clad and thin looking beauties. No wonder the Gray Lady's little darlings where so agitated!

That's what one gets with a sect that thinks it lives in the 13th century. What makes liberals approve of the Religion Of Peace is the anti-Western and anti-progressive terorism it practices. Without it it would just be Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson anti-choice fundamentalism and as every one knows, liberals find THAT brand of religious faith absolutely beyond the pale!

Christians in the New York Times' worldview are to blame for Muslim aggression. Like Ann says, they ask for it in Nigeria and presumably (does 9-11 come to mind? ;-) ) elsewhere. Christians are just too decent to confront the media slanders against them, which is why the East Coast liberal intellengsia has no problems convicting Christians at the same time as they absolve the Religion Of Peace of not really being tolerant.

Talk about an image problem that goes deeper than the disappearance of the late "Miss Congeniality" show from Abuja. The irony is that the ROP more perfectly describes the faith of Jesus than Mohammed but its not politically correct to sully a religion that rips people's entrails out at a few slips in the local newspaper.

One wishes as Ann rightly does that liberals took issue with Muslims' determination to kill people all the time in the name of peace. Surely, the world would be a better place for it.

1) She is dating a Middle Eastern Christian (there are such people), who fills her in on the actual Middle East situation.

2) Since the Western has refused to "invade their countries, kill their leaders, convert them to Christianity", she figures that she had better find a semi-decent Muslim man, since the West is lead by "girly men" and may well lose.

Inasmuch as liberals are demanding that Americans ritualistically proclaim, "Islam is a religion of peace," Muslims might do their part by not killing people all the time.

I don't recall this being a solely liberal stance, nor do I suspect Nigerian muslims are concerned about PR. Nigeria is one of the most densely populated countries on Earth and almost equally divided between Christian and Muslim.

We would do wise to ignore it ... better yet, nominate Clinton as Ambassador to solve this problem ala Ruwanda.

Could it be that Muhammed Ali is Muslim and didn't kill 3000 people during his life that shows the differences in Muslim belief.. Some muslims take the peaceful principles of the religion and leave the rest behind while some take the nasty bits and leave the peaceful behind. So although a lot of Islam may be evil, there are sects related that are not. That she might date a peaceful Muslim is not surprising. This is America where we have freedom of religion and people are allowed to think for themselves.
It's a place where you can be Jewish, Krishan, Protestant,
Budhist, Christian, Satanist, Muslim, Catholic or Athiest if you so choose. They are all different religions and all allowed practice due to our freedoms. We just have laws that prevent the more radical aspects of some of these groups - like Satanist human sacrifices - from being practiced legally. Islam may be a largely evil religion.
That Ann Dates a Muslim should shut up some in our midst who want to shout that all Msslims are evil. One would hope anyway...
