Invented? Excuse me? Where do you get off?

Aric is one of the OLDEST derivatives of Richard, which happens to be my first name, why do you think I used it as a nick here?

I have planned on using this name for a son since my first was born almost 7 years ago.

And ERIC, is just plain UGLY!!! To me anyway.

I have not named ANY of my children after anyone in my family, how would it look if I named my son Richard?

Go be clueless somewhere else, I don't need your crap right now, trying to keep 2 little girls away from thier mother while she recovers and me on 3 hours sleep is not exactly a picnic.

I chose it, and if he has to tell them how to spell it, it makes him that much more memorable, ERIC, YICH, ugly and it's boring, and it does not mean RICHARD!!! Go be clueless somewhere else please.

We have 3 sons - Jason-20, Michael-11 and ERIC - 16 - so - to me - ERIC is not an ugly name, by any stretch of the imagination!! - But I'm not going to argue with anyone about it - especially someone who just had a new baby--

By the way - as the mother of 3 sons - I can appreciate the fact that now - after having 2 daughters - you are now the father of a new son. I would LOVE to have a daughter - even at my age (in my 40's)!! :))
