Talking facts to gun-control zealots is only likely to make them angry. But the rest of us need to know what the facts are. More than that, we need to know that much of what the gun controllers claim as facts will not stand up under scrutiny.

They still have a tremendous psychological and political hold on many Americans. They disseminate error, without the bat of an eylid, as being the truth.
And IMO, many in the listening audience buy this error, in part, because they want an excuse not to be a real man or woman and face up to the responsibilities and vigilance necessary to maintain a free republic. And they remain wilfully ignorant.

This may explain why anti-gunners doggedly stick with unreasonable arguments. They know the ultimate goal is and un-Constitutional police state.
Some anti-gunners I have spoken with, don't seem to understand even the arguments they are trying to make. It's like they are programmed to use these lame arguments, knowing it is their best shot to overthrowing the Constitution.
