Louisiana needs me because my office was attacked with Anthrax. I survived it. I'm tough. How come Landrieu has a bit of a Nawolins accent by the way, and Terrell doesn't? Maybe that is why Terrell quotes Daschle. She is really from South Dakota.

They may actually cut the seats back to before the 107th congress... Remember they had the 50/50 split so the Republicans got a one seat majority because of the tie breaker rule in the normal Senate voting. However when JJJ crossed over the Dems got the majority and they added two additional seats to the committees, both Dems. So Lott is making sounds of cutting two slots, both would be Dems if that goes through... If I remember all this correctly

Landrieu just made a fatal mistake...what is the percentage of people anywhere claiming a mortgage deduction? Everyone who hears this knows she is scraping bottom. LOL

The only time that I have seen Landrieu was in a few ads that the showed on FOX, and my impression of her then was that she looked like a former white debutante that would never appeal to Black voters, but then Louisiana is another world from Washington State, where I am.

Okay... I know that Daschle is trying to convince Lott to expand them...

Landrieu is lying about retaining her seat on the Appropriations Comm though if she wins...

Breux's liberal index percentage keeps dropping with each debate. It is now down to 55%. In the first debate it was in the high 60's.

You are right about that. She knows damn well the seat is not hers whether she wins or not. But what is important to her is that the little people don't know.

Hopefully, the undecided will understand that she has a big mansion in DC and is unconnected with mortgages of folks in La.

What they need to do down there is get Edwards out of jail, and put him in the Senate. He knows far better than either of them how to shake down the system for Louisiana, and he is a hell of a lot smarter than either of them. He is who Louisiana really yearns for in their heart.

Landrieu's father was a popular, two term mayor of New Orleans. He has an early and consistently good civil rights record for a democrat. However, he is part of the old corrupt, democrat party machine that has controlled Louisiana politics for decades. Mary grew up a priviledged child of New Orleans Garden District but her father did not.
