I know, and his equal I shall never be... which leads me to the crux of my befuddlement: what was so well said in my post on Daisy Cutters et alia that it deserved note and praise?

Oh "Iraqis"! That makes more sense. I initially thought the headline said: "Iroquois Caught Moving Weapons Materials." Images of muskets and tomahawks flashed by.

ROTFLMAO.

I am a major fan of the Daisy Cutter, myself.

Different weapons for different purposes. Daisy Cutter is mostly for pyschological impact but it does pack quite a punch against exposed targets, whereas the bunker buster is a deep penetator designed to dig out the comand and control types from their "furher bunkers". I like both myself, but I know people who were involved with the desing of the Bunker Buster, specifically the modification to the control laws required for the different weight and aerodynamics of that long heavy bomb verse the std 2000 pounder, although I'm told using the original control gains would have worked OK, just not been optinum. For BLU-82 (Daisy Cutter) pictures, but no video, check here. Below is a picture of the leaflet dropped prior to (sometimes) dropping a daisy cutter during Desert Storm.

The image on this simple Gulf War leaflet is that of a super-explosive "Daisy Cutter" bomb, which the U.S. used to shock Iraqi troops out of their wits. The message reads: "Flee and Live, or Stay and Die!"

I hope that you will share your knowledge of our weapons with us when and as they are being used against Saddam and his Islamofascist thugs. Thanks!

thanks for the link.
I was under the impression that the daisy cutter had utility in shattering bunker complexes and killing those within them. am I mistaken?

Ring.

Hello.

Osama?

He is not here.

OH cut the crap Osama, it's Saddam, I know it's you.

What can I do for you, oh Great One.

You can freaking die, camel breath. You took down those buildings and ticked them off big time, don't you watch westerns? 'Dude's a COWBOY man, says he don't need no posse. And YOU had to go and put a burr under his saddle.

Ah, but Your Excellency, didn't you enjoy the freightened look on the faces of the infidels when their big buildings were collapsing? Ooh, and those people jumping from the windows?

If you were here I would personally THROW your dune pooping, sand sucking, sheep humping, camel jockey, cave rat a$$ right out of my palace window into the moat of pig fat. You have brought the wrath of the cowboy upon us thinking he was like the other one. What an idiot you are and now I have to pay for your stupidity. And don't bother crying to Arafat, I talked with him and he's already trying to get some kids to strap on the bombs and go find you, bin-braindead. And let me tell you another thing....

Click.
