A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 12/4/02

Another busy day for President Bush today as he signed a few new bills and hosted the lighting of the White House Menorah. The President signed the 'Anton's Law' which requires shoulder belts in addition to lap straps in the middle rear seats of vehicles. Bush also signed the Dot Kids Implementation and Efficiency Act, which creates a new kids-safe 'dot-kids' domain on the Internet that would contain only material appropriate for children under 13. After signing the bill, he took questions from the media, and once again stated that he is not optimistic regarding the inspections in Iraq. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura hosted Afghani teachers as they learn to become master teachers, who will eventually be responsible for training teachers back in their home country. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

alouette posted this on her Hannukah thread. I hope I don't offend anyone, but this was her reply to someone who said he would have been better to wear a yarmulke:

LOL!

Rain here. All night and day. I would love snow--for a day.

Sunny day here in sunny California. I would love rain or snow -- for a day. Even longer! I want some winter weather! Wah!

No, there is just such a thing as bad picture. The others are far better. That first is just not a good picture of him.

What I have come to learn about PJB fans is that they're extremely hateful and negative people. I have absolutely no time for negative people. My motto is.... It could always be worse and when things are going well I'm on bended knee thanking God for his blessings.

PJB wouldn't get a vote from me if he had a halo on his head. Anyone who can write a book that is titled "The Death Of The West" is a loser to the core. If there is one thing I have learned about this country, It's this... People have been willing to risk their lives to get here even before we became a republic. That says a lot in my book. I don't have the answers for our border problems, but I know why they want to be here. This country is the most desirable place to live on the planet. And PJB needs to quit looking at the glass as half empty

Must be, 'cause I'm on the laptop tonight. I've got the good monitor in the other room, and this one isn't it.

Or it may be that I've had 2 too many adult beverages tonight. (and they weren't small ones either!)

It's a good picture, It just looks to me that he is showing just how hard it is to have the weight of the world on his shoulders. I just wish there was a way to lighten his load. I feel sorry for the guy, he has such a tough job and he didn't deserve to have this mess dumped in his lap. I really can't fathom how that worthless scumbag X42 sleeps at night knowing how badly he shirked his responsibilities while in office

Hey goodness! I was over in your neck of the woods over Thanksgiving and I couldn't believe it. Absolutely NO SNOW in the Cascades and that reservoir! Sheesh...you guys better get some rain quick or me thinks you'll be rationing come spring. Very dismal sight.

Over here it's just foggy and dreary and cold. No rain or snow just fog and dreariness.

Ok, you can think they are blue green. But I will take Laura's word for it and my own since I looked into them. They are blue.

I would assume that this behavior would require the non-person in question have a conscious (I would accuse others, but I'm trying to be nice for Christmas)
