Great first thread!

Great job! Let me be the first to congratulate you. Or the second. Or third. Depending on when this posts.

Thank you for posting that. I'm going to turn on the cable station that plays nothing but rebroadcasts of WWL news. I've got to see that.

Well done, great report. I hope Landrieu's plane doesn't crash before she gets whupped on Saturday. After Saturday, her 'plane' will definitely crash and burn.

Dear Nolawoady,
Welcome home. Good post. On an important topic. One that makes all of our hearts beat a little fastor.
Our Preident has taught us, that it is up to all of us to fight for the American way.
Spreading the good news about this topic, is a fine way to do it.

That reminds me of the first time another kid pushed me off on a bicycle -- scary and wobbly while scared and unknown -- but easy as pie just the same, once you forget the scary internal boogeymen that pester the start of any new kind of thing.

Thanks to you, I just got to see the rebroadcast of that report. Beautiful. The reporterette said that they were expecting a turnout of 1,500 to 2,000, but that they would have to start the rally late because "people are just now starting to trickle in." It was a live report, so I guess they expected to be able to report this great event.
You could see a smattering of people walking aimlessly about in the background.
I'm going to tune in to the 10 o'clock news to see if they run an updated report.

"This is my first time starting a thread. Please be gentle."This is a great first thread news...better than that gloom and doom financial posts of all the layoffs and cutbacks and plant closings that other guy is posting.
I only wish we were going to get Thune from SD to go to Senate with Suzie Terrell.
Louisianans are not going to regret electing Terrell in my opinion.
To: nolaw0ady
Dear nolawOady;
If you don't mind, repost after the local news N.O. time
I'm curious who showed up. Could be a major embarrassment
for Landrieu, two days (or 1 for Dems) before the election.
Terrell by 9 pts.

Almost no one showed up at Here's Mary's campaign rally in her stronghold of New Orleans? Lock, set and match. Game's over, folks. If she can't stir the liberals in her home base to come out in force for her, she's going to lose big and its going to be a rout on Saturday, people. I guess the Dems heard she's running as Mr. Bush's Friend and it was too much for them to bear. Come Sunday morning, Louisiana's most liberal Senator will be histoire. This news was too late to make it on the Rush Limbaugh Show today but you can bet the Maha Rushie will highlight this on Friday's program. These are not Happy Holidays for Bubba, McAwful and company.

More power to you all.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but what is the weather like at the rally. Could it be that they couldn't get to it? I hope it is just that nobody cared to show up.
To: nolaw0ady
Looks like she's got her own "crusty".
To: nolaw0ady
Great post. Good news, and good work. Keeping fingers crossed for Saturday.

The discovery of her D.C. mansion and family's net worth conceivably turned off her natural constituency. Maybe they view her as a fox seeking to guard their henhouse.
To: nolaw0ady
thank you for this report! Do not get complacent however! Remember a large percentage of DemoncRAT voters are never seen at rallies because they are DEAD! So take nothing for granted and be sure to get out and VOTE!
