Thanks for the heads up. It's the TREVOR LAW GROUP. They are scum who are ripping off businesses. They use an old law to file on behalf of the public when there is no victim to be a plaintiff.

I called the RNC about this this morning. Mr. Racicot will talk with Karl Rove about this over the weekend to try and push Bush's tort reform measure.

This is what keeps me out of small business.

I can't afford to be sued because someone does something stupid with my product.

F'ing ridiculous..

"Well, was there a sticker that said a person shouldn't swallow your vacuum cleaner? How are they supposed to know? Hummmm?"

1,400 shops

They get together and chip in 500 bucks each...

$700,000.00 will buy enough legal firepower to counter sue the scumbag firm for every dime they all made all put together, plus their homes Porsches, Rolexes, lakehouses AND pay for a full page ad in the LA Times warning any other law "firms"     they try this little bit of BS and they are next.

That would be justice.

It's going to get worse. I know a lot of people (friends, friends of friends, friends of the family) who are completing or have recently completed their bar exam. With all the lawyers running around, they will need more reasons to scoop up a living.

We need to put a restrictive CAP on the legal profession. In this instance we can learn something from Japan.
