Former Vice President Al Gore, speaking on ABC's "This Week," said he thinks Saddam Hussein is lying. "I don't believe their report," Gore said.

Geez! Quite a revelation.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Iraq had possession of letters from Klinton/Gorp promising to keep the lid on Iraq's nuke weapons program if they send their diplomats to the Oval Office with more money and a promise to keep up the under-the-table business deals.

I just started reading, and was going to quick comment that we should not be surprised if American Companies were also mixed up in this dirty work.
Obviously France, Russia and Germany have certainly helped out. France has helped many countries with their 'peaceful' nuclear programs.

DoughtyOne, you said it so much better than I can.

The Chinese are not hoping for a 'cold' war. They most certainly want to win a 'real' war. If the Soviets could have found a way to nullify our nuclear retalitory forces, we would have been toast. The aggressor going into the cold war typically thinks they can eventually win. For example, 'your children will be communist'. Thats the main motivating factor besides of course the ability to control countries and their civilizations while playing the Cold War much like playing pieces on a chessboard. The motivation for both the chinese and muslims is to instill their well established 'systems of control' on the rest of humanity. Now we will discover that there are not only companies, politicians and military personnal within our 'Allied' countries that helped (China get our advanced nuclear weapons secrets) and (Hussien and probably even Pakistan learn how to build atomics), but there will also be people within our own government, industry and military establishment who assisted this. Now internally their motivations were based on sound principals they believed. The world was more controlled when a Cold War threatened to annihilate all of us within minutes. Having lost this Cold War control the world was slipping into Anarchy and Barbarism. Or as Mr. Smart would say 'Chaos'. So although their heart was in the right place, they unfortunately were thinking with the wrong organ. The question now is how to put out the fire they have started. Its a two front Cold War this time. Muslims to the right of us, Chinese communists to the left and here we are stuck in the middle. Looks like they are hedging their bets this time. Two fronts are needed to counter us Patriotic Americans and the 'Superpower' we wield.

Link to an interesting view from the inside of Iraq. Albeit all Sadassed Insanes propaganda ,it does seem to be pro france and spain in some of the text. Clintonistas , including former DOE chief Hazel O'Leary should be getting a bit nervous if "sources of information " are ever released as they'll have some splainin to do IMHO..

Stay safe !

Who asked Gore/Lieberman (Sore/Loserman)? Aren't they the ones who ARE NOT the pres./VP???

And what's up with Gore saying the document is a lie before anyone has even looked at it... (I know it probably IS but...)

Okay maybe it is me but... Isnt this very, very big? The Iraqis are a breath away from Nukes. Werent all the Liberals clammoring that we cant act because we simply do not know if Iraq has WMD? Also isnt this a breach of the former UN resolutions?

You said it, I would think this admission alone is a "breach" and call for immediate war on Iraq!

Press Release No. 91-P 71 1991-08-31

This Soviet request that the CCC effectively set aside its fiduciary responsibilities to the U.S. taxpayer comes as what should be a particularly inopportune time for the organization. After all, the CCC is reeling from still-unfolding revelations that over $900 million of its funds were diverted by the Banco Nazionale del Lavorno (BNL) and used by Iraq to buy arms.
