I'm talking about the submarine Krasnii Oktyabr, that Ramius captained. Russians were testing a new drive system on her, but she disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean near the end of the cold war. The officers tried to scuttle her, and the whole thing blew up with them inside. Real shame. Also an incredible triumph on Basil Pouledouris's part.
