Somehow, I feel that Congressman Rush's criticism of Senator Lott would be taken more seriously if Bobby had ever renounced his role as the so-called "defense minister" of the racist Black Panther party. But I guess it takes one to know one and Rush sure seems to know 'em all. What is that old saying about the pot and the kettle?

Many people are not fit to lead, this author is one. Sadly, Trent Lott is another. Racism is simply not acceptable in a national leader. His oath to the constitution requires him to treat all Americans as equal under the law. He has failed his oath.

If we cannot find Lott unworthy of a leadership position who would be unworthy? It's up to his constituents to decide if he belongs in the senate.

Where are you now, Rep. Bobby L. Rush?

Speak up, child.
