Luigi's Restaurant was the place to be this past Saturday, as members of the DC Chapter gathered to celebrate the closing of another busy and successful year, as well as to relax and enjoy one another's company... in a warm place!

The DC Chapter members literally took over the upstairs dining room, as we chatted, joked, and ate some of Luigi's famously delicious foods.

Ol' Sammy Abbott (the pinko) is probably rolling over in his grave at the posting of these pix of Takoma Park's most colorful conservative, Doctor Raoul!

The DC Chapter presents Doctor Raoul with a framed copy of the "Kensington Santa" edition of the Montgomery (MD) Journal.

Many thanks to Jimmy Valentine's brother for getting the paper framed for Takoma Park's most famous native son, Doctor Raoul Demming.

Kensington, MD council members didn't dare ban Santa again this year.
