If this girl was taunted and anti-semitic words were used prior..then attacked..I don't care if it was a Jew attacking an Arab girl outside of school or an Arab girl attacking a Jewish girl (then the NYTimes would have picked that up ;), the crime bears the same punishment.
I agree with you 100% on what you say above.
I already know what happens when one posts a story showing hardship to an Moslem on FR, it invariably followed with things like...
"They deserve it"
"Would have become a suicide bomber anyway"
"Send them back"
...and other such crap.
