A great and good friend who lives half way across the country from me is very ill. He has been a good friend for many years and now his beloved wife stands by his bedside and is watching him slip away. He has been on chemo for bowel cancer that had one small liver metastiasis. The chemo has apparently induced seizures and clots and he is now in a drug induced coma to help stop the seizing. It has not stopped and even severely comatose he has seizure activity.
The doctors are stumped and Paul is now in the hands of God...
It is hard even to type this...

Praying for you.
How about a prayer for my dog. Yesterday she jumped from the bed and has been limping ever since. Today the vet diagnosed a torn ligament in her leg. She may have to have surgery. We'll see if the ligament heals by itself.

Prayers are going up for Paul and Sue. I've never heard of that kind of severe reaction to chemo, but I guess it happens. Shouldn't they have some kind of antidote in that situation?
Please, Lord, make him stop seizing so he can awaken tomorrow to praise your Name.
