Call your Senator - Ask Why They Think You are Racist
Posted on 12/19/2002 6:43:01 AM PST by Republican Red
I just called Zell Miller's office to complain about former President Clinton's remarks that all Republicans are racist. We hear in Georgia are particularly being slammed as all white supremists. The Democrats are blaming their loss of the governorship on racist Republicans. As a Georgia citizen I am livid at these accusations. I don't have to explain my vote. Roy Barnes lost the election for many, many reasons. I personally voted against him because he was diverting state toll money to buy land from his democratic donor buddies.
I implore all of you to call your Congressman and Senators and have them explain to you why they feel you personally are racist and why they feel ALL their Republican constituents are racist. Miller's people were quite taken back that I had called and tried to tell me Zell hadn't heard about the Clinton comment so had no comment yet. I told them I would call back later after the Senator could form an opinion. Let them call you racist in person at least.

Hmmm.... Actually, I've been thinking about this since I heard about Clinton's quotes, and then I began to realize - Am I the only American Indian White Supremacist out there?? Are there others? Can we form a support group?

This really applies to everyone. Each man, and each woman, is a member of some race, and thinks highly of it. As for everyone else, well, who knows?

Yikes, you truly are deep in enemy territory. Take care and write often.

Hmmm...I'm only part American Indian, and I live in Pennsylvania -- but I sure would join the group if I lived down South -- are you going to have "secret" meetings and passwords??

well, I know I'm a racist. George Bush said I was a racist. In the 2000 campaign, george Bush went to Michigan to speak against the group who was campaigning against spencer abrahams over the h1b issue. George bush said those people were racists who oppose h1b. I saw him do it on tv. So, I'm a racist.
And george bush is a patrician, lilly-livered rich liberal from new england who doesn't give a damn about his own country who has no confidence in his own nation's people's abilities and is willing to sandbag them in the job market by making them compete unreasonably against indentured servants who sell their labor in 6 year time slots in exchange for a green card. But the people george bush steps on a racists, so I guess at least he's got that pc thing going for him.

Red, "Racist" has become such a powerful word that people will do virtually anything to prove that they never considered their own race at anytime in their entire existence. People will go even further and disavow any white person whom has any racial self awareness at all. We've all seen this phenomena in practice. "Racist" is like the atomic bomb of the English language. The political left has learned that the mere suggestion of "racism" can undo elections and deliver untold capitulations and surrender.
Trent Lott is only the most recent to be nuked.
.
Until we start depriving the left of their expected results when hurling the unspeakable we will continue to retreat into oblivion. We need to collectively laugh at clowns like clinton instead of frantically trying to disprove the negative. If we start doing it at the grass roots level our unprincipled representatives will certainly align their jello consistencied backbones to accommodate.

I called Zell's Washington office and the girl that answered hung up on me. I am angry, yes, but I was not rude. I think I touched a nerve in that office because I was told that President Clinton doesn't speak for Senator Miller. I asked then why the democrats accuse Senator Lott of speaking for me? That's when I got hung up on. They are a little touchy in Washington.
