Not only that, but now the Rats have more fuel in their arsenal. All they have to do is take something that someone they don't like says, make it sound like something it isn't, call them a racist (always works whether there's any truth in it or not) and get what they want. There is more than one way to CONTROL or cripple whatever goes on on Washington. Shame on Republicans for joining the lynch mob.
I respectfully disagree. Lott made an ugly remark, and not for the first time. He would not have been brought down over nothing, and he would not have been brought down but that Republicans were dissatisfied with him anyway.
It's of course true that the media has a huge double standard, but this time it backfired on them.
