Seems to me that Patty Murray is a perfect example of the thinking in the State of Washington.

Actually, it's King county. This is a blue county. I'm in the heart of downtown Seattle and I'm surrounded by this thinking. I haven't lost a debate yet with any of these non-thinkers that are willing to take me on. Now that republicans control at the national level, the debates are kind of fun.

Boy, does my son have it out with the other bike messengers sometimes. He finally realized they are politically ignorant, no matter how strong their opinions, or how many rally's they attend. They are really beginning to look silly, like a brounshirt in a "Hitlerless" world.

I would like to apologize for the senior senator from my state. Unfortunately, King County has enough population to elect people like Ms. Murray. If you were to look at the county election map in Washington, you would see that most all of Eastern Washington votes Republican and a good part of Western Washington as well outside of the Metro area.

I have never voted for that woman, Ms. Murray, and I never will. The same can be said for Maria Cantwell (sp?)

I'm afraid this kind of thinking has spread through all the urban areas on the West Coast. That's the only way Gray Davis could have been reelected. Davis was able to shift the blame for the California energy fiasco over to the energy suppliers, esp. Enron (which is actually a minor energy supplier.) The West Coast has become like an alchoholic who has to hit bottom before he can see his problem and reform himself. I'm seriously considering a move from California to Arizona.
