Each of the whistleblowers was right to do what she did. However, it doesn't take much to believe that Time chose them so that they could drag the Enron stuff back up against GWB, not to mention pinning FBI problems on him, no matter how pre-GWB the problems were. Things are going too well for GWB and those poll numbers are too high, they have to do something about that!

Look, it's just business.
These'll be flying off the shelves as Mr. & Mrs. America eagerly delves into the journalistic nuggets within.
The lust for the Almighty Dollar wins out; Time knows what moves news.

Time magazine has several purposes in my house:
1. lines the cat's litter box
2. lines the oil change drip pan
3. one row behind the toilet paper on the survival rack.

In fairness to
AOL magazine, it was this non-choice or another non-choice, the much-bandied-about generic terrorist. You'll also recall the talk of Eminem (ew! yuck! gross!).
That said, recall the choice for 1991, Ted Turner. The magazine's editors inspired gales of laughter when they said, "WE didn't know Time Warner had a stake in Turner Broadcasting!!" The company bought Ted out later. Talk about "independence."
Or as Wolcott Gibbs wrote in his famous parody, "Where it will all end, knows God!"

I'm kind of surprised that Al Gore wasn't their guy for his extraordinary courage!

I don't see Linda Tripp's photo on the cover of Time along with the three lady whistleblowers.
It's all in semantics; since the term "whistleblower" has an honorable connotation, no way was it ever used insofar as Linda; she was morphed into the backstabbing ratfink category.

Anti-Capitalist Commie agenda by Time. Selective attention.

It's too bad there were no courageous individuals during the 8 years of the Clinton administration who rolled over.
On the other hand, it is much harder to blow the whistle when your life is threatened.

Good grief. Is that a politically motivated decision by TIME or what. This gives the other National-Socialist 'reporters' an excuse to re-run old stories and do new ones to try and make "corporate greed" and "Bush knew" stick to the Republicans. They just don't seem to understand that the more they engage in these nazi-istic propaganda ploys the more the public sees them for what they are. Hate-mongering ghouls that only publish rubbish.

Was Linda Tripp included? Funny. That was my first thought. I'm proud to be in the "Great Minds Think Alike" category with you.

Do you suppose they would print any letters to the editor mentioning Linda Tripp? Maybe we should ALL write.

You will notice that Phil Gramm's wife, who sat on the audit board of Enron, never opened her yap about anything, nor did Good ole Phil. Now Phil has bailed from the Senate. Wonder if he figured that the jog was up, that he figured that getting the money indirectly was getting a bit too risky?

Well, even the Bushies don't like Linda. You may remember they gave her zip when they got into office, although they could have.

Time needs a Freepin'!

Excellent choice, Time Magazine! Congratulations, for pointing out those who have lain it on the line for better justice and law enforcement for all American citizens!

Too little, too late, too... (yawn).

Was Linda Tripp included?Man, my first thought also, along with all the other brave souls, many of them women, who were courageous enough to stand up (and suffer greatly) to the evil Clintons and the criminal DNC.
Where is the Time Magazine cover for true heros like Gary Aldrich or Kathleen Willey? If Time had listened to Aldrich there would have been no 9-11 or sale by the democrats of our missle and nuclear tecnology to the ChiComs.
In point of fact, Time is part of the enormous smear machine against true whistle blowers and is part of the endless cover-up efforts.
Time is intellectual toilet paper, no longer a serious magazine. You get more honest news from The Enquirer!
