Considering that glaciers used to come as far south as Kansas, global warming in the last 10,000 years has been overall a good thing.

I don't know.. if there were glaciers again on the same scale as there used to be, New York City and it's attendant idiocy plague wouldn't exist.

And Jean Chretien wouldn't be able to make stupid remarks.
And bell bottoms wouldn't be able to try for a third comeback. Scratch that last one.

I'm betting that these guys think that mankind existing has changed the climate, even thousands of years before mankind supposedly existed. They conveniently forget that the Earth has gone through hot cold cycles before without man's interference.

I also like that guy's lunacy that cooling towers have anything to do with this. Like a hundred cooling towers have anywhere near the evaporative cappacity of the world's oceans. Not even thousands of cooling towers have that much power. Volcanos have more evaporative capacity than mankind can even dream of creating.
