Touring Ramallah - a town that was reoccupied by Israeli troops in June following a wave of suicide bombings and other attacks on Israelis - Lieberman was surprised by the damage to the main Palestinian West Bank commercial hub. "There are desperate humanitarian conditions here," he said.

Really...and what about the way Israelis must live with the constant threat of suicide bombers??????

Can someone please explain for me what it is that makes folks at this point in time back Palestinian statehood? Yasser Arafat's terrorist tactics have been such a failure that even the Palestinian people call it B.S. Even Arafat claims it has been a dismal failure and is trying to run from the responsiblity as fast as he can. The PLO has been discredited to the point nobody but nobody respects them any more. They have no juice whatsoever. So what do some of our brilliant leaders do? They back statehood. Dang, Lieberman should write a book, F-ing UP For Success, the PLO Stumbles into Statehood, By Joey Liebermouse

The Palestinians were offered half of Israel and continued
their violence because it is their way.

If Lieberman is serious he should offer them Hartford
or New Haven, because they are so PEACEFUL.

Political reality: There are way more blacks than Jews (esp. Jews that are strong supporters of Israel). To be a viable candidate on the DEM ticket, you have to have the black vote period. You don't get the black vote unless you support Palestinian statehood.

"There's strong support for the aspirations of the Palestinian people for a state.

From who, other than palestinians themselves? Loserman panders to the enemy of his own people. Anything for campaign cash, eh big Joe?

This alone disqualifies this good man from being the next President, or even the next Democrat nominee.

The very fact he is Jewish makes him blackmailable on the subject of giveaways to the Palestinians, and makes it likely he would be unable to take the strong, utterly immovable stand in favour of the removal of our enemies from our land...that the next President must and will by G-d's grace, do.

US Sen. Joseph Lieberman expressed support for Palestinian statehood during a visit to Ramallah on Monday and called conditions in the West Bank town "desperate."

Disgraceful. What a piece of excrement. The road to Auschwitz was paved with traitors like Lieberman, Rabin and Peres.
