Hillary Clinton really does believe that she is royalty. From Gary Alrich comes the following:

Another close source, this one in the Secret Service, told me that Hillary had ordered her Secret Service protective detail to "stay the f**k away from me!" and to keep at least ten yards of distance between her and them at all times.

The Secret Service agent told me that it was much harder to protect her from a distance of ten yards, and she was told this, but she didn't seem to care what the Secret Service said. He also told me that it was obvious that she had a clear dislike for the agents, bordering on hatred, in his opinion.

Arkansas troopers have told me that Hillary would send them on humiliating errands. Among such adventures were making them go to the store to get her Tampax.

In the 1992 campaign, she cursed out a Secret Service agent who would not carry her bags because he needed both hands free to protect her.

Chris Matthews witnessed how Hillary treated the Secret Service as bellboys: "I was on the New York shuttle a couple of weeks ago, and I saw something interesting," Matthews told his "Hardball" guest Gail Sheehy Monday night. "Hillary Clinton [was] up in that little bankhead - bulkhead seat they reserve for VIPs in the corner, nobody around her; Secret Service guys all around with those little earphones and one large guy, rather embarrassed, rather sheepish, walking along with his own earphones carrying her bags."

Somewhat agitated at the idea of Mrs. Clinton turning the lifesaving federal agents into her own personal Redcaps, Matthews exclaimed, "Who - who in the Senate gets a Sherpa to carry their bags for them?" "I've never heard of a senator getting a bag carrier. Who pays for the airfare for this guy? Who pays for his lifestyle? Who pays his salary to walk around carrying her bags, so she can walk around light-handed, with nothing in her hands?"

Matthews told Sheehy to keep an eye out for Hillary and her heavily armed valets.

"I think next time you're on the shuttle, you'll see this show. It looks like - you talk about Queen Elizabeth, this looks pretty regal."

Everyone is beneath Hillary. Her compassion is phony. She really does believe she is a queen and is entitled to the presidency. Troopers whom I have personally met have told me the same kinds of stories. Analogy: When the security guard was almost run over in Connecticut (last year?) the headlines were nil, but page 7 or 9 had 2 paragraphs of strict journalistic reporting of minimal facts and no insight.

A small correction to your comment. Ruby Ridge occurred in 1992. Then came Waco, then Vince Foster.

Otherwise, I agree with your view on S-98 and Waco. I think she had a lot to do with the nature, timing, and ferocity of the attack at Waco due to the embarrassment is was causing to the Administration, which was brand new and off to a shaky start.

We saw it again, when the Administration was embarrassed by Elian. I never want to see storm troopers invading a home like that again.

And we must never let the world forget, that she was co=president in the Clinton White House. The 16 acre hole in Manhattan is as much her legacy as Slick's.

The height of Powell's popularity was in 1996. He did not run because he did not want a rectal exam of his entire life. His wife did not want him to run. He would go through the same rectal exam if he ran as a VP. He simply will not do that. If you heard him today on Tony Snow, it wasn't an in your face comment, but he definitely blamed the Clintons for much of our current foreign policy problems. He has little respect for Hillary so how could he possible run with her?
