Men who hate cats are misogynists, working themselves to bigger things.  Some are minanthropes.  I remember reading that Jeffrey Dalmer started with cats and road kill.

I'm a man. I had a cat. It bit me. It scratched me. It peed on my pantleg and made me bleed, which made me late for work. It peed on my pillow. I took it to the vet and petted it as it went to sleep. I don't think I'll have another cat.

I didn't start with it. It started with me.
