First of all, I do not agree with your spin on medical research on cats. Most of these cats are euthanized, therefore, if these cats were used to save human lives, such are my grandparents', these cats are not being murdered. Murder implies sinester motives.

Second, his "sin" was using dishonesty to obtain the cats, not doing animal research on a medical lab at Harvard. He did repent from his sin, since he confessed it and made ammends.

Third, you have to prove that Frist is an abortionist or abortion-promoter.

It's just like Rush says, no one was driving the SUV, it was driving itself and deliberately committed a "suicide rollover" and killed those people.

It was probably angry because it was overloaded...who knows?

It is a shame. A doctor gives aid and then the victim or family see it as a way to riches. Guess they would prefer a non-trained person try and save their life.

You are correct of course. I just looked up the incident on www.miamiherald.com and it did not mention that Sen. Frist was even there, let alone that he may have saved peoples lives (yet again). Check it OUT

I am not willing to simply laugh this off. This is outrageous. I see no coverage whatsoever on any of the networks. My wife and I are busy right now calling and emailing TV, cable and radio networks demanding this story be covered. He lied to the shelter people that he was adopting cats...and took them to experiment on instead....and killing them. It's about lying. But he confessed and said he shouldn't have done it.

Thanks! I can't believe some people are carrying on about Dr Frist did as a young med student.You'd think that they never told a lie or did anything wrong about anything themselves! He's apologized for what he did and yet that's not good enough! It's outrageous!I think he's a fine man and will be a great senate leader.At the very least,we should all be praying for him.IMHO.
