I believe Mr. Squat's post contained an extreme portion of sarcasm.
I'm from NY and even I dont want that. Remember how dull the Yankees/Mets series was? (Then again so is every World Series. Baseball sucks.)
He is one fu**ing RICH hillbilly!
You got that right and if I was him I'd sue the piss out of the bastard who cut my face up and made me look like Joan Rivers!
But at least we got Parcells and I am STOKED!
I will surely enjoy watching Pennington in future years, he's got "brains", great "pocket presence" and a Brett Favre type attitude... now what could be finer than that?

JET NOTES
Chad Pennington yesterday was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for a Jets' record third time and second in a row. (actually Pennington Ties Ken O'Brien who won it 3 times in 86..)
Pennington helped lead the Jets to a 42-17 win over the Packers by completing 17-of-24 passes for 196 yards and four TDs, giving him a passer efficiency rating of 134.7.
Pennington earned the same honors for the Jets' win over the Patriots the previous week and in Week 11.
Since the award was established in 1984, he's one of four AFC quarterbacks to win the honor outright three times in one season. He's also one of four NFL players to win consecutive weekly awards.

While the Jets have no significant injuries entering tomorrow's game - just P Matt Turk probable with abdominal pain - the Colts have a large injury list, which includes three defensive line starters listed as questionable.
Starting DEs Chad Bratzke (leg) and Brad Scioli (shoulder) and starting DT Larry Triplett (back) are all listed as questionable. Colts' starting LB Marcus Washington (knee) is also questionable. Starting LB Mike Peterson, the Colts' best defensive player, is listed as probable with a hand injury and starting CB Walt Harris (knee) is probable.

Yep, I watch more football in one weekend then I watch baseball in an entire season.
This week in NYC has been unreal. Football fever is at an all-time high. Jet fans are respecting the Jints, too, thanks to the unbelievable Shockey. Chad & Jeremy...has a ring to it...
GO BUCKEYES! GO BROWNS!
What momentum? The Jets backed into the playoffs. They are there only because Miami choked and lost their last two games. (Sound familier? - Miami choking I mean) The Jets opponent, the Colts, have just as good a record for December as the Jets, Just as good a record as the Jets for their last three games, Just as good of record as the Jets over the last 8 games and a better overall record. Although the Jet's Pennington was offensive player of the month for December, Dwight Freeney of the Colts was Defensive player of the month for December. Although the Colts got clobbered two weeks ago by the Giants, the Jets got beat three weeks ago by the Bears who really stink this year. Add to that the fact that historically the Colts have always had the Jet's number. I anticipate that this will be a close, good game. I also anticipate that the winner of this game will go no farther in the playoffs.
The Jets in that stretch, dispatched San Diego, on the road, badly, Beat Miami, NE, and Green bay....Badly.
The Jets are playing Far better football, at this minute, and are HEALTHY.
The Colts Defensive Line is in for a long Afternoon tomorrow, and P.S. have you seen the NY weather report ? Not exactly good news.
