Right on, I was a little worried about the Falcons but they looked really good! They sure hammered the Packers.

Just because the playoffs have been going that way doesn't mean that all of them will...
SF beat the Giants by 3 the last time they played earlier in the season...

"Win the Super Bowl once, and then you can start talking."
Didn't SF win the super bowl five times in the 80s? What on earth are you talking about?
To: Hacksaw
Well if the first minute is an indicator... the steelers have lost already...
And Cleveland opens with a touchdown!

It isn't over 'till the fat lady sings....
The TD should have been challenged as the knee hit first

Great start for the Browns! But now, can they keep the Squealer offense contained?

Great start for the Browns! But now, can they keep the Squealer offense contained? Don't know - I think Kordell would be better in this type of game (quite chuckling!)

Regardless of what the referees might think, this is
not a touchdown........
To: Hacksaw
Well you can't throw away your only two challenges you have in the first two minutes of the game...
I disagree with the call on the first challenge though... the challenge was whether or not he was in bounds, not if he had control...
To: hole_n_one
Cower should have challenged it...

Going back to the TV and Myron Cope on the radio - be back soon...

Now, now, my post was clearly to Ol Sparky, about the Eagles.
What's the matter? It's not even 2:00 EST and you're already getting nervous. Niners are going down, San-Fran style.
...and GO BROWNS

The matter is you don't know what you're talking about...

Chiming in - Go Niners!
And yes, I saw that Monday night game ... hope they got all the clankiness out then. Of course, the more scrubs than not played the second half, and OMG, what happened. It was painful, even though it was (ahem) meaningless.
To: bootless
You mean against St. Louis? Its unreasonable to think that a third string squad can beat a first string squad...
To: Ruger1099
Look for the Jets to be leading 42-0 at halftime. My team SUCKS! They do not deserve to be in the playoffs! Hehe...good call.
The curse continues..
these Baltimore folk sure know how to hold a grudge ;-)

NO, #82, the bench is not the out-of-bounds line. This isn't football at the local park now. Talk about a late hit.

What a stupid penalty......he's gotta be at least 5 yards out of bounds whe he hits the guy........
To: marajade
