[history]
"Wall Street Journal Editorial Board with Stuart Varney" will not be returning to CNBC on Friday nights. In the course of long-planned renegotiations, CNBC and the Journal failed to agree on the future direction of the program. We are grateful to CNBC for the opportunity, and we are especially grateful to our viewers.

Don't worry. With its miniscule ratings CNBC itself will probably be cancelled before the end of the year.

Fox News should set aside some time for them. Like 9-10 pm Saturdays (dump Whorealdo!).

Actually, while CNBC isn't making as much as they were during the Clinton/dotcom fraud bubble, they continue to rake in the bux. Ma and Pa Kettle may not be watching any more, but the people that buy $150K Benzes still do in droves.

But somehow they manage to keep Donahue?
To: Brookhaven
No, that's MSNBC.
To: Timesink
Too bad-- it was a good show. I hope another network picks it up.
To: Timesink
That was the only MSNBC program I ever watched with regularity. Oh well....
To: Timesink
That was an awesome show, one of the few good programs on CNBC.

Stinks, don't it?CNBC? Sure does.
It's time to move to a real network, as others here have suggested.
To: Timesink
CNBC's best show right now is Kudlow & Cramer.

This stinks...I loved that show. After a while, I get sick of the shoutfests on Fox and want a little more "studied" analysis of issues. WSJ Ed. Brd was the best show on TV for considered conservative opinion. Oh well...
To: Timesink
I can take it or leave it. Some shows were interesting. Others were typical political left vs right shows. I prefer non-fiction myself.

In the course of long-planned renegotiations, CNBC and the Journal failed to agree on the future direction of the program. Interesting choice of words. Note that this was *not* a disagreement over money or contract items. "Direction of the program" is a clear reference to editorial decisions.
And one guess which way CNBC wanted to WSJEB to change...
