it reserves the right to pursue fleeing al-Qaeda and Taliban fighters into Pakistan

And from what I heard the President say, it's open season on bad guys. No limit. No bag limit.

This is part one of the policy. The second part, which is implied but well understood by the Pak government, goes a little like this. -

U.S. says it reserves the right to hunt al-Qaeda in Pakistan, because that's where more and more of them are hiding, on account of what is either direct help or mere lack of desire to assist us on the part of the Pakistani government.

I'm not sure how smart diplomatically this was to say this. Just do it.

From AFIS today:

Bush reminded the soldiers why America is fighting a war against terrorism. "(The terrorists) don't value innocent life. They're nothing but a bunch of cold-blooded killers, and that's the way we're going to treat them,"

Gotta love it.

It's those Dang Tribal Areas where the problem lies. If we say "Screw It" we are going in, it makes the Paks look bad. For some reason the PAK Military won't even go near there. I wonder what Gems the Tribal Areas are Holding,.........Hmm....

Translation: "America has given you more concessions than you deserve. Back off and let us conduct business or else we're going to jam you."

This is the way it ought to be.

PAK Military won't even go near there.

Probably because they're a tribe of blood thirsty mad men. "They are legion."

Their Pakistani Islamist party, the MMA, won a surprisingly strong 60 seats in the recent general election. Unfortunately, border incidents involving US troops just increase the Pakistani public's support for these anti-American radicals.

"While Pakistan is an ally in the war on terrorism"

Pakistan is an ally in "dog poop". They are not our friends and do not share our beliefs or ideals...

Screw Pakistan and even South Korea, neither wants the U.S in their countries, so let's lets get out and let them go it alone for a while. India would turn Pakistan into another desert and North Korea would take South Korea without breaking a sweat. They would come back to the U.S. for help in no time.
