WESTERN MARICOPA COUNTY - They come into the shadow of the White Tank Mountains to kill.

And then they disappear, like their namesakes, coyotes.

Since March, smugglers of illegal immigrants, known as "coyotes," have left behind eight bodies, each killing as brutal as the one before, investigators say.

I have an idea, maybe armed civilians patroling the border?

Armed civilians patrolling the border?

Sounds good to begin with, but...

It only works if the civilian patrols detain the coyotes. And then, you face the same problems as with drug smugglers. The coyotes you apprehend are just pups, and the big dogs, the ones making $20,000 a day, get away with it.

We need more than armed patrols...we need strict and vigorous enforcement of immigration laws, we need the imposition of severe penalties on those who employ illegals, and we need to impress on El Presidente Fox that we ain't gonna take any more of his dumping his criminals on us.

For what it's worth...

"These suspects that kill execution-style are capable of killing again and again," Arpaio said. "There could be lots of bodies out there.

Now, can somebody remind me again why US residents living close to the border shouldn't go armed or start their own border patrol networks?

Arpaio's statements in this article, as he has always said, show that the 8 murders near the White Tank Mnts., and the Red Rock incident are NOT tied to the Volunteer Border Patrols. These two incidents are in the report from the Border Action Network that is being submitted to Napolitano and the new AG asking for an investigation of the Citizen Patrols.

Okay, we know what the press is telling us.

Out of curiousity, who do you think the new governor is going to believe? Sheriff Joe or Isabel the Marxist?

That's one of the reasons it's going to get worse. Our new gov is going to pander to the marxists (IMO).

No sweat, today Arizona swore in a Democrat Governor.

She will throw open the gates on the border and the illigal trade will evaporate overnight...

I'm gonna have fun stuffing this one down Raouuul and Isabel's throats if they're silly enough to come down here.

The President is afraid to lose votes and that is all.

Same goes for CA prop 187. It passed but is not enforced. A conservative Governor will be needed to go to court to enact it.

It basically said no public funds to illegals. Except for emergency care.
