Chavez announces a military plan of control of food industry

Friday January 10, 2003 - 20h08 GMT

CARACAS, 10 jan (AFP) - the president Venezuelan announced Friday in a speech that the soldiers prepared to take the control of the factories and food stocks, because one tests "assassiner by the hunger the people Venezuelan ".

"I will not allow that the people die of hunger", affirmed with force the president Venezuelan by specifying that a plan was ready for "a military takeover" of the factories of foodstuffs and warehouses, in a speech televised since San Carlos, to approximately 200 km in the western south of Caracas.

To the 40 3rd day of the strike launched by the opposition against Hugo Chavez, from the foodstuffs disappeared from the stores, in particular the cornstarch necessary to the preparation of the basic dish vénzuélien, the arepa, a kind of crepe. Others are almost in out-of-stock condition, like rice.

"We had to import meat of Brazil, food and milk of Colombia, rice of Dominican Republic", continued president Chavez.

The president had already called upon the army to guarantee the distribution of gasoline and the control of the oil industry which ensures 50 percent of the public revenue.

"We must prepare at one difficult period, the finance public are affected", explained Mr. Cavez, because "we could export in December only hardly 150 000 barrils/jour against a few 3 million in normal time".

Hugo Chavez benefitted from this speech to pay homage to the soldiers, which, has it says make owe them "by defending the sovereignty of the country", i.e. "populates it, the territory and the laws" Venezuelans, according to his definition.

For several days, the opposition via televised messages or articles of press has tried to convince part of the army to withdraw its support for the president Venezuelan.

Mr. Chavez also launched a warning to the owners of the chains of television. "We will not continue to allow their propaganda of war", has it says. "Either they respect the constitution and the laws, or we will apply the law", it to them continued, without specifying which type of measurement, closing, lawsuit, or other, it could take.

The president designated the tycoon of television Gustavo Cisneros to be "one of the first persons in charge" for the crisis vénézuelienne.

Hugo Chavez compared "with the riders apocalypse" four channels of television, Venevision (proprity of Cisneros), Radio Caracas Television, Globovision y Televen of Caracas.

Every communist dictator uses food as part of his/her control of the "masses." Hillary will use it to if and when she ever gets the reins of power in America.

Pray for the people of Venezuela because mass starvations will be attempted in order to silence the "agitated masses."

Commies have a real good record on this one. Stalin staved at least 10 million deliberately. Mao caused a famine which killed at least 45 million( probably wasn't deliberate but idiocy can kill same as malovolence) Mugabe doing such a good job in Rhodesia now. Yep his statement has all the plausibility of a forensic medical analysis conducted by Dr Nick Riveria.

I guess Chavez and Mugabe shared the same sandbox educational system. Even a die hard Marxist should have become better at new methods of destroying an entire country. This stuff is getting too old and predictable.

Do you have ANY evidence that Hillary plans to use the food supply of the USA as a weapon if she wins?

She had spoken on the government's need to control the nation's food supply immediately after 9/11.

Evidence? Read It Takes A Village and see if you can convince yourself that she's not a communist.
